GlaxoSmithKline, the Washington Redskins and other partners have teamed up to put key elements of the Triple Solution to work for the broader Washington D.C. area community.

Putting the Solution to Work

A number of health-focused events are being hosted for the people of Washington D.C. and surrounding areas. These include free services like community health screenings held right in the Redskins players locker room at FedExField, Childhood obesity prevention and health awareness programs that involve participation with other community focused groups, Redskins players, staff, and others is being conducted in Washington D.C. Wards 5, 6, 7, 8. All of these events are involving people – adults and children –  in more proactive health engagement and health maintenance, teaching better ways to approach medical care, and taking the steps to start leading longer and healthier lives.  To learn about upcoming programs visit the Redskins.com Health and Wellness page.

Spreading the Word

Crowds at this year′s Washington Redskins home games will learn more about the challenges posed by chronic disease today, steps that we all can make in our own health lives, and the hope that the Triple Solution offers.

  • D.C. area TV viewers will also see special “Timeout For Your Health” segments that explore the way people in and around the Washington Redskins organization are meeting their own challenges with chronic disease.
